Gin, lemon, orgeat. Pre-Prohibition American. A nutty, citrusy variant on the basic gin sour.

Ingredients

• London Dry Gin2 ounces
• Fresh Lemon Juice¾ ounce
• Orgeat½ ounce

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Double-strain into a chilled coupe.

Notes

Quality orgeat is the difference. Small-Hand Foods or Liber & Co orgeat will transform the drink.
