Art of Choke

A swizzle built on Cynar and white rum with green Chartreuse, lime, and mint. Herbal, bittersweet, and unlike anything else — a modern Chicago original.

Ingredients

  • Cynar1 ounce
  • White Rum1 ounce
  • Green Chartreuse¼ ounce
  • Fresh Lime Juice½ ounce
  • Angostura Bitters1 dash
  • Mint Sprig1 each

Directions

Add Cynar, white rum, green Chartreuse, lime juice, and mint to a rocks glass. Fill with crushed ice and swizzle until frosted. Top with more ice and a dash of bitters.
