Bitter Giuseppe

A nearly all-amaro drink — Cynar lengthened and brightened with sweet vermouth, lemon, and orange bitters. Bracingly bitter and beloved by the people who love that.

Ingredients

  • Cynar2 ounces
  • Sweet Vermouth1 ounce
  • Fresh Lemon Juice¼ ounce
  • Orange Bitters6 dashes
  • Lemon Twist1 each

Directions

Stir Cynar, sweet vermouth, lemon juice, and orange bitters with ice. Strain over a large cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
