Scotch, Cherry Heering, sweet vermouth, orange juice. Named for the 1922 Rudolph Valentino bullfighter film. Improbable combination that works.

Ingredients
- Blended Scotch¾ ounce
- Cherry Heering¾ ounce
- Sweet Vermouth¾ ounce
- Fresh Orange Juice¾ ounce
- Orange Peel1 each
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Double-strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with an orange peel.
Notes
Equal parts. Use a blended Scotch — single malt overpowers. Fresh orange juice only.
