Ingredients: 2½ ounces Basil Hayden Dark Rye; ¾ ounce Lychee liqueur; 1 ounce Fresh lemon juice; 1 barspoon Allspice dram; 3 dashes Angostura bitters; 1 piece Lemon peel

A rye sour with a tropical bend. Basil Hayden Dark Rye's fig and baking-spice character anchors a restrained lychee note, with allspice dram and Angostura bridging the spirit's spice to the fruit. Spirit-forward, low-sweetness, sized to fill a large martini glass.

Lychee liqueur¾ ounce
Fresh lemon juice1 ounce

Directions

Combine rye, lychee liqueur, lemon juice, allspice dram, and Angostura in a shaker with ice. Shake hard for about 15 seconds. Double strain into a large martini glass. Express a lemon peel over the surface and drop it in.
