Desert Fig

Bright, citrus-forward, and easy-drinking — a daytime sipper built around fig and thyme.

  • Gunpowder Laurel and Fig Gin2½ ounces
  • Cointreau¾ ounce
  • Fresh lemon juice1 ounce
  • Thyme syrup½ ounce
  • Grapefruit bitters2 dashes

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake hard for 15 seconds until well chilled. Double strain into a chilled martini glass or over a large rock.

Notes

This recipes does not use egg whites. However, if it is desired then dry shake the ingredients with the egg white for 15 seconds, add the ice and shake again and then double strain.
