Rye, applejack, and yellow Chartreuse, stirred and potent. A spirituous Maryland classic with a bite that earned its rattlesnake name.

Ingredients

  • Rye Whiskey1½ ounces
  • Applejack¾ ounce
  • Yellow Chartreuse¾ ounce
  • Lemon Twist1 each

Directions

Stir rye, applejack, and yellow Chartreuse with ice until cold. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
