Final Ward

Rye, green Chartreuse, maraschino, lemon. Phil Ward's 2007 rye-based version of the Last Word.

Ingredients

• Rye Whiskey¾ ounce
• Green Chartreuse¾ ounce
• Maraschino Liqueur¾ ounce
• Fresh Lemon Juice¾ ounce

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Double-strain into a chilled coupe.

Notes

Same equal-parts structure as the Last Word, but lemon instead of lime and rye instead of gin. Spicier, drier.
