Ingredients
- London Dry Gin1 ounce
- Fresh Lemon Juice½ ounce
- Simple Syrup½ ounce
- Brut Champagne3 ounces
- Lemon Twist1 each
Directions
Combine gin, lemon, and syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake briefly. Double-strain into a chilled flute. Top with champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Notes
Some sources cite cognac (Harry's New York Bar version). The gin version is the modern American standard.
