  • Rye Whiskey2 ounces
  • Bénédictine½ ounce
  • Fresh Lemon Juice¾ ounce
  • Lemon Twist1 each

Directions

Shake rye, Bénédictine, and lemon juice with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Notes

A Prohibition-era drink documented in mid-century manuals. The Bénédictine carries both the sweet and the spice.
