Ingredients

  • Dried Gentian Root2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable Glycerin4 ounces
  • Water2 ounces

Directions

Steep 2 tbsp dried gentian root in 4 oz warm vegetable glycerin and 2 oz water for several days, shaking daily. Strain into a dropper bottle.

Notes

Steeped in hot glycerin or food-grade vegetable glycerin rather than high-proof spirit, to keep it truly zero-proof. Bitter is the one flavor that's easy to do well without alcohol.
