Ingredients
- Rye Whiskey2 ounces
- Sweet Vermouth½ ounce
- Yellow Chartreuse½ ounce
- Angostura Bitters1 dash
- Orange Bitters1 dash
- Lemon Twist1 each
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Notes
The Brooklyn family replaces the maraschino in a Manhattan with various amaros and liqueurs. This is the most popular variant.
