A simple, perfect three-ingredient rum sour with apricot — rum, apricot liqueur, and lime. Bright stone fruit over funky rum.

Ingredients

  • Aged Rum1½ ounces
  • Apricot Liqueur¾ ounce
  • Fresh Lime Juice¾ ounce

Directions

Shake rum, apricot liqueur, and lime juice with ice. Double-strain into a chilled coupe.

Notes

A Jerry Thomas-era classic, revived by David Wondrich's punch-and-cocktail scholarship. The apricot is the whole personality.
