Kentucky Buck

A summer bourbon buck built on muddled strawberry, lemon, and ginger beer with a dash of bitters. Bright, long, and easy without being simple.

Ingredients

• Bourbon Whiskey1½ ounces
• Fresh Lemon Juice¾ ounce
• Simple Syrup½ ounce
• Strawberry1 each
• Angostura Bitters1 dash
• Ginger Beer2 ounces
• Lemon Wheel1 each

Directions

Muddle a strawberry in a shaker. Add bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and bitters with ice and shake. Strain into an ice-filled tall glass and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a strawberry and lemon wheel.
