Kentucky Maid

A bourbon smash gone garden-fresh — muddled cucumber and mint with lime and a hint of sweetness. A modern classic of the cucumber-cocktail era.

Ingredients

• Bourbon Whiskey2 ounces
• Fresh Lime Juice¾ ounce
• Simple Syrup½ ounce
• Cucumber Slices3 each
• Mint Leaves6 each
• Cucumber Slice1 each

Directions

Muddle cucumber and mint in a shaker. Add bourbon, lime juice, and simple syrup with ice and shake. Double-strain over fresh ice. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
