Gin brightened with Cointreau, grenadine, and lemon — pale pink, tart, and pretty. A 1920s charmer in the daisy family.

Ingredients

  • London Dry Gin1½ ounces
  • Cointreau½ ounce
  • Grenadine¼ ounce
  • Fresh Lemon Juice½ ounce

Directions

Shake gin, Cointreau, grenadine, and lemon juice with ice. Double-strain into a chilled coupe.

Notes

From the Savoy canon. The grenadine gives the blush; keep it light so it doesn't slide into sweet.
