Mary Pickford

Light rum, pineapple juice, grenadine, maraschino. Cuba, 1920s. Named for the silent-film actress during her honeymoon in Havana.

Ingredients

  • Light Rum1½ ounces
  • Fresh Pineapple Juice1½ ounces
  • Grenadine¼ ounce
  • Maraschino Liqueur1 bar spoon
  • Brandied Cherry1 each

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Double-strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a brandied cherry.

Notes

Fresh pineapple only. Real grenadine, not the dyed corn syrup version.
