Negroni Sbagliato

Campari, sweet vermouth, prosecco. The 'mistaken Negroni' — Mirko Stocchetto at Bar Basso, Milan, 1972, reportedly grabbed prosecco instead of gin by accident.

Ingredients

  • Campari1 ounce
  • Sweet Vermouth1 ounce
  • Prosecco1 ounce
  • Orange Slice1 each

Directions

Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add Campari and sweet vermouth. Top with prosecco. Stir very briefly. Garnish with an orange slice.

Notes

Lower-ABV than a Negroni, bubblier, more brunch-appropriate. Built in the glass, not stirred.
