Ingredients
- Rye Whiskey2 ounces
- Sweet Vermouth¾ ounce
- Cherry Heering½ ounce
- Absinthe0.13 ounce
- Brandied Cherry1 each
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a brandied cherry.
Notes
Cherry Heering for the cherry liqueur. Memorializes the USS Maine, which exploded in Havana Harbor in 1898.
