Ritz Cocktail

A luxurious cognac sour finished with Champagne — cognac, Cointreau, maraschino, lemon, and bubbles. A modern classic from a master.

Ingredients

  • Cognac1 ounce
  • Cointreau½ ounce
  • Maraschino Liqueur¼ ounce
  • Fresh Lemon Juice¼ ounce
  • Champagne2 ounces
  • Orange Peel1 each

Directions

Stir cognac, Cointreau, maraschino, and lemon juice with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe and top with Champagne. Flame an orange peel over the top.
