Ingredients

  • Bourbon Whiskey2 ounces
  • Fresh Lime Juice½ ounce
  • Angostura Bitters2 dashes
  • Ginger Beer4 ounces
  • Mint Sprig1 each
  • Lime Wedge1 each

Directions

Combine bourbon, lime, and bitters in a highball glass with ice. Top with ginger beer. Stir briefly. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.

Notes

Less complex than the original — single base, no brandy. Works as a bourbon mule with bitters.
