Ingredients
- Rye Whiskey2 ounces
- Fresh Lemon Juice¾ ounce
- Fresh Orange Juice½ ounce
- Grenadine½ ounce
- Brandied Cherry1 each
Directions
Shake rye, lemon juice, orange juice, and grenadine with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a cherry and orange.
Notes
Said to originate at Boston's Locke-Ober in 1898, named for the political ward. Real pomegranate grenadine makes it.
