Bee's Kiss

A creamy rum nightcap — aged rum shaken with honey and cream into something between a flip and a dessert. Soft, warm, and quietly indulgent.

Ingredients

  • Aged Rum2 ounces
  • Honey Syrup½ ounce
  • Heavy Cream1 ounce
  • Grated Nutmeg1 pinch

Directions

Shake aged rum, honey syrup, and cream hard with ice. Double-strain into a chilled coupe. Dust with nutmeg.

Notes

A 1930s classic, the rum-and-cream answer to the Bee's Knees. Honey syrup keeps it from turning cloying.
