Ingredients
- Aged Rum2 ounces
- Honey Syrup½ ounce
- Fresh Lime Juice½ ounce
- Warm Water½ ounce
- Lime Wheel1 each
Directions
Stir honey with lime juice and a little warm water in a rocks glass until dissolved. Add rum, fill with cracked ice, and stir. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Notes
A genuine Cuban historical drink, traditionally made with aguardiente (cane spirit); aged rum is the common modern stand-in. Honey, not sugar, is the binder.
