Gold Rush

Bourbon, lemon, honey. T.J. Siegal at Milk & Honey, 2001 — the proto-Penicillin.

Ingredients

• Bourbon Whiskey2 ounces
• Fresh Lemon Juice¾ ounce
• Honey Syrup (1:1)¾ ounce

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Strain over a large ice cube.

Notes

Three ingredients, no margin for error. Real honey syrup (1:1 honey to warm water).
