Honeysuckle

A Daiquiri sweetened with honey instead of sugar — rum, lime, and honey syrup, rounder and more floral than the original.

Ingredients

• White Rum2 ounces
• Fresh Lime Juice¾ ounce
• Honey Syrup½ ounce

Directions

Shake rum, lime juice, and honey syrup with ice. Double-strain into a chilled coupe.

Notes

A 1930s rum sour documented in period manuals. Honey gives it a body and warmth plain syrup can't.
